This options consultation document sets out 5 options for housing growth for the borough.  These are:

Option 1-intensify urban area
Option 2-optimise urban area and 3 area of Green Belt release
Option 3-optimise urban area and large Green Belt release
Option 4-optimise urban area
Option 5-optimise urban area and small areas of Green Belt release

Greenbelt is great -BUT - it must serve a purpose for the community and be economically sustainable. For the community to benefit from the existence of greenbelt, and its owner sustain its management, current boundaries must change.

Option 3 is also suitable for enabling flexibility needed to balance needs.

Its been well considered over a very long period of time. Further delay and cost should not be allowed. Councillors should support planning officer recommendations.
