. DAWKES I think the scope of this consultation is too limited. You cannot have a single consultation that covers all of Elmbridge. Elmbridge is too diverse.

Limiting the number of characters of text that you can type in to these sections is extremely short-sighted. You are restricting what people have to say and restricting how they can express themselves.

1939 (Joe Rooks) Seems to me to be a pretty thorough exercise conducted democratically. 17 Sep 2019 12:29
1959 (Michael White) While it is very good that Elmbridge residents are asked for their input into this and other consultations, I am very cynical about the voice of residents being heard and, more importantly, acted upon. I draw this conclusion from having spent over 40 years working in the Public Sector, both in Whitehall departments and in local government, and I am well aware of the lip-service that can be paid to these processes. In short, I feel the minds of the planners have already been made up. I would love to be pleasantly surprised. 19 Sep 2019 11:35
1963 (Sanjay Patel) Please ensure the views of the respondents are not ignored when making the final decision.. 29 Sep 2019 18:57
2009 (Leigh Henderson) It word severly impact me if this land is no longer available. People are happier when able to go for a walk. It alleviates stress in our modern lives. to Question 8 I can't remember if I responded or not cant seem to find an email to that affect. 27 Sep 2019 11:18
Abbie Chapman I note that nearly every option has housing set to be placed in given areas around Cobham, so I have to be honest and say that I am disappointed that these do not seem to be genuine 'options'. I am not sure how a GIS-supported approach would provide the same set of areas for building and only 'higher density', 'Green Belt loss' combinations. There should be weightings assigned to conservation that ensure green spaces are protected and I am not sure how the same areas are shown as options for building if this is the case. 27 Sep 2019 11:31
Adrian Dent I think this whole process is ill-conceived! Not enough thought has been given to the huge social and technological changes that will come in the next 15 years. From an environmental point of view alone, all of the current proposals are likely to accelerate rather than benefit the current climate change issues. It seems to me that short term solutions are being looked for rather then planning sensibly for a balanced future. I am seriously disappointed by the quality of thought and preparation that has been put into these proposals!!!! 29 Sep 2019 21:04
ADRIAN MCGOVERN the first consultation wasn't as aggressive and looked at under used ameinety spaces, I don't understand why this is more aggressive than the last 31 Aug 2019 19:19
Aine Gee I understand the need for housing but we also need to protect our environment so option 4 is most favourable compromise for our village. 29 Sep 2019 17:53
Akindele Sikuade I think it is being well handled. I hope you will take the views of the residents to heart. 29 Sep 2019 17:09
