The Consultation

Where can I view the Plan?

You can view pdf versions of the Plan and supporting documents below as well as an online version of the Plan. Hard copies are available for inspection at:

  • All Borough libraries - see the Surrey County Council website (or call 0300 200 1001) for locations and opening times

How can I make comments on the Plan?

  • Register and submit your comments online via this Consultation Portal.
  • Download a representations form and email the completed form to
  • Alternatively post the completed form to Planning Policy, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD

Comments must relate to whether the plan is 'sound' or 'legally compliant' as guided by the response forms.  All comments must be received by 4pm on 17 March 2014.  Please note that late submissions cannot be accepted.

For comments relating to the Equalities Impact Assessment or Sustainability Appraisal you may only respond by downloading a representation form and either emailing it or posting it as above.

*** Please be aware that this is a public consultation and your name and comments will be publicly viewable.***

In making comments you may want to refer to the evidence base and other key documents.  Links to these are set out in the core document list which can be downloaded below.   No changes have been made to the Policies Map during preparation of the Development Management Plan, therefore the version produced in 2011 for the Core Strategy remains up-to-date.

What will happen to my comments?

Your comments will be sent with the Plan to the Independent Inspector and considered as part of the examination process in Summer 2014.  Find out more about the examination process.
